At the time of Nolan's death, Art & Eva were very poor. They were in the middle of the depression and could not afford a casket for Nolan. They buried him in a large wooden shoe box in a cemetery in south Minneapolis on the corner of Lake Street and Cedar Avenue, which was near where they were living at the time.
It probably would not be in the cemetery records as his father, Arthur, dug the grave himself and buried Nolan.
The exact location in the cemetery is unknown.

Told to me by his brother Norman in January of 1982 while I was at the Ebenezer Home in Minneapolis visiting his mother, Eva.
