Richard was killed in a farming accident when the tractor he was driving rolled, pinning him underneath. His funeral service was held in The Redeemer Lutheran Church on July 20, 1979.
He was 16 years old and is buried with his father Leslie, and grandparents Lydia and Edward Gregor.
