Kimberly Denise Yates Bowman 38 years of age of Conaway, VA passed away Friday, August 13, 2004 from injures sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Michigan, March 9, 1966 she was the daughter of Johnny Yates and Allie Bailey Yates of Conaway, VA. She was a 1984 graduate of Grundy Senior High School and a graduate of Grundy Beauty academy. She was of the Pentecostal Faith, a loving daughter, wife and mother.
In addition to her parents, Johnny Yates and Allie Bailey Yates, she is survived by her husband of eleven years, Rickey Allen Bowman of Conaway, VA, one son, John Robert Bowman of the home. One step-daughter, Tera Tenise Bowman of Montgomery, AL, one sister, Lisa Mullins of Hinesville, GA. One step-grandson, Allen Austin Bowman, one niece Jonni Lynn Mullins and one nephew, Joshua Clay Mullins.
Funeral services for Kimberly Denise Yates Bowman will be conducted Monday, August 16, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Elmer Brown, Elder E.C. Honaker and Rev Dale Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
Active Pallbearers will be: Bill Mullins, Clifford Keene, Kenny Ramey, John Duty, Tim Coleman, Barry Viars, Jody Stiltner, Robbie Stiltner, Kermit Stiltner and Chester Bentley.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Sunday, evening service will be held at 7:00 p.m..
