Gerald H. Alger,80, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away October 5, 2012. He was born November 6, 1932 in Holland, MI and moved to Florida in 2003 from Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Alger was a retired General Manager for several automobile dealerships in Indianapolis and Kokomo. He was a member of the Kentucky Colonels and Kentucky Admiral, Honorary River Pilot and Honorary Secretary of State in Indiana and served in the Navy during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Beverly; step-daughter, Sheila Palmore of Punta Gorda, FL; niece, Candi Milendar of Indianapolis, IN; and grandsons, Noah Palmore and Forrest Palmore both of Punta Gorda, FL.

Funeral Information
The family will greet friends at the Crown Hill Gothic Chapel on October 30, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with services at 11:00 a.m.
