MRS. MELTON DIES IN HOSPITAL AFTER ILLNESS
Mrs. Nell B Melton, 71, died this morning in Phoebe Putney Hospital following an illness of a week.
Mrs. Melton had lived in Albany for the last 28 years, moving here from Camilla. She was a member of the Byne Memorial Baptist Church.
Surviving are three stepchildren: Mrs. G. A. Chancey, Albany, Roy Melton, Albany, and R. C. Melton of Dothan; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Fain, Bainbridge, Mrs. Joseph Harrell, Cairo; and a brother R F Bullard of Camilla. Serveral nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
