William F. Ginter, 71, 243 East Napier avenue, Benton Harbor, was dead on arrival shortly before noon Monday at St. Joseph Memorial hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack.
He was born Dec 9, 1904, in Benton Harbor and was a former member of Fairplain school board. Mr. Ginter retired from New Products in 1974. He was a member of Lakeshore Masonic lodge No. 298.
Surviving are his widow, Kathleen; two sons, William, Raleigh, NC and Robert, Coloma; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Carolyn) Dean, Seattle, WA, and Mrs. Niel (Cindy) Taylor, Napoleon, OH; a brother, John Ginter, Riverside, and three sisters, Mrs. Dena Ackerman, Bridgman, Miss Marilyn Ginter, Benton Harbor, and Mrs. Dorothy Bronson, Ann Arbor, MI. A brother, Walter, and his first wife, Alice, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Fairplain Chapel, Florin funeral home, where friends may call. Burial will be in North Shore Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Michigan Heart Association.
