Karen A. Myers 1952 – 2012 Karen A. Myers, 59, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Vista Medical Center - East, Waukegan, Ill. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on Aug. 3, 1952, and was the daughter of Harland E. and Beverley (Weyres) Reidenbach. Karen attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. She also received her Bachelor Degree from U.W.-Parkside and her Associate Degree from Gateway Technical College. On Aug. 29, 1987, she was united in marriage to Charles Robert Myers. She was employed with Bombardier Recreational Vehicles, Sturtevant, as a Systems Analyst. Previous, Karen was employed at OMC/Johnson Motors for over 30 years. Karen was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband, Charles; her daughter, Alison (Jeremy Matthews) Myers; her mother, Beverley Reidenbach; three brothers, Mark (Jane), Keith and Bruce Reidenbach; and her sister, June Sturino. She was preceded in death by her father, Harland E. Reidenbach. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at 6 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Private interment will take place in St. George Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
