MINER DIES AS RESULT OF ACCIDENT
Clarence Holt, a coal miner, aged 27 years, died in the Clearfield Hospital about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon, as the result of injuries received in the mine of the Clearfield Sewer Pipe Works, located upon the hillside above Weaverhurst.
The deceased was caught under a fall of rock and coal about 11 o'clock yesterday morning, and removed at once, to the hospital for medical attention, but his injuries were of such nature that nothing could be done for him, and death resulted.
He lived at Weaverhurst, and is survived by a sorrowing widow and three small children.
