Greene (1938-1990); five sisters, Berlessie Venable, Martha Wiley, Lottie McCraw, Edith Taylor, and Katie T. Wynn; two brothers, Sidney Taylor and Willie Taylor.

Elizabeth joined the Gravel Hill Baptist Church at a very early age. She attended Gravel Hill School for her education. She later moved to New York in 1940, where she received her certificate from the Baby and Geriatric Career Institute in New York, June 18, 1964.

She devoted over 50 years doing what she had a passion for, and that was caring for babies in her white uniforms. Elizabeth enjoyed strolling through the park and traveling around the world with her babies. She later moved back to Richmond, VA in the early 80's where she continued her career until 2006.

When she wasn't working, Elizabeth would be out all day shopping. Someone would always see her out and would tell on her, "I seen Grandma Lizzie." She was Gramdma Lizzie to everyone, even if you were not her grandchild. Elizabeth enjoyed talking on the phone, not answering the beep and attending Riverside Pace Center three days a week. She loved shopping for everything, especially hats and belts to show off the stream line, watching CNN, and calling Michael Jackson and Barack Obama her boys.

Elizabeth was very hardworking and dedicated to whatever task that was given her. No matter what the assignment, she stuck with it until it was completed. She was a born leader, had an independent spirit, loved her family and was a spiritual woman of strength. Throughout her 90 years, she was never sick. God blessed her with great health.
