A former resident of Ford City and Kittanning, William Franklin Alexander, 50, of 3 West 65th St., New York City, died Wednesday, May 31, at his home from an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Alexander was a 1934 granduate of Ford City High School and was a resident of Ford City-Kittanning are until 1946. He was a veteran of World War II.
A son of John William and Ella (FItzgerald) Alexander of Kittanning RD6, he was born June 16, 1917 in Morgantown, West Virginia.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: one son, John of Bronx, N.Y.; three daughters, Mrs. Patrick (Judity) Ormond of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Wayne (Nancy_ Benzen of Denver, Col.; and Susan Alexander of Hackensack, N.J.; one brother, James of Warren, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. George (Jean) Brown of Zenienople and Mrs. Victor (Sara) Sloop of Kittanning; and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangement are incomplete.
