She first married Benjamin Brace Jones (Sept. 1839 - Nov. 27, 1864) in Mears, MI on Sept. 15, 1861, but he died in the Civil War as a Union soldier in Chattanooga, TN on Nov. 27, 1864. Two children resulted from this marriage, including Anna Capitola Jones (Aug. 2, 1862 – Sept. 7, 1948, See Memorial ID No. 181385615) and Benina B. Jones (Oct. 1864 - 1953, See Memorial ID No. 10043360).
She next married John H. Spade (1826 - 1877), a farmer, in Golden Township, MI on Sept. 3, 1865, but he died (cause unknown) in 1877. Four children resulted from this marriage.
Finally, she married Charles L. Anderson (Nov. 1841 - 1916, See Memorial ID No. 10042689), a laborer on the Spade farm, on Jan. 30, 1878. Together, they had a son, Karl L. Anderson (Aug. 2, 1878 - 1916, See Memorial ID No. 10042681).
