Mrs. Cora L. Marney, 83, 503 N. Crumley, pioneer Guymon resident passed away in San Diego, Calif. Thursday morning where she had been visiting.

The daughter of James Thomas and Eliza Jane Abbott, she was born on March 10, 1994 at Sunset, Texas. She came to this area with her husband Oliver Marney in 1907 and established their home south of Guymon. Mr. Marney passed away in 1948.

She became a member of the First Baptist Church on July 18, 1909. For many years she was a member of the T. E. L. Sunday School Class. Mrs. Marney is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Daphne Rowe, Lakeside, Calif., Mrs. Theta Coleman, Bakersfield, Calif.,, Mrs. Mary Dunlap, New York, NY., Vivian Marney of Guymon.

Five sons, Hubert H. Marney, Bossier City, La., Milton A. Marney, Salem, Oregon, Robert W. Marney, Salem, Oregon, Joe H. Marney, Great Bend,, Kan., and Clinton Marney, Eugene, Oregon.

Six sisters, Mrs. Mattie Weaver, San Angelo, Tex., Mrs. Mollie Boiles, Granite, Okla., Mrs. Lela Brown, Irving , Texas., Mrs. Iber Pearch, Anaheim, California, Mrs. Bon Pewthers, Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Callie Grave, Sentinel, Okla.

One brother, Felix W. Abbott, Modesto, Calif., twenty grand children, and thirty-three great grandchildren.
