Veronica Lois Maggard, 64, of Westminster, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born Aug. 27, 1948, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Thurman T. and Betty L. Mathias Petry. She was the wife of Glines V. Maggard Sr., her husband of 49 years.
She was employed as a machinist with Black & Decker, up until the time of her illness. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are son Glines V. Maggard Jr. and wife Connie, of Keymar; sisters Yvonne Hanson and Nancy Felter, both of Westminster; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Teresa Lynn Maggard.
