Ada Bedini Brunetti of Danbury, a Ridgefield native and former longtime resident, died July 14, 2006. She was 84 years old and the widow of Joseph Brunetti. Mrs. Brunetti was born on Nov. 1, 1921, a daughter of Charles and Adele Marconi Bedini. She graduated from Ridgefield High School in 1939 and married Joseph Brunetti in 1946 after he returned from the war.
A Ridgefielder most of her life, Mrs. Brunetti had worked for Schlumberger for 20 years and was also instrumental in the operation of Brunetti's Market on Main Street, founded by her husband.
A member of Ridgewood Country Club for many years, Mrs. Brunetti was an avid golfer who won many tournaments at Ridgewood and in Florida. After the store was sold in 1983, the Brunettis retired to Pompano Beach and Stuart, Fla., but also had a home in Danbury to which they eventually returned full time. Joe Brunetti died in 2004.
She was also a member of St. Gregory's Church in Danbury.

Two sisters, Lena Costanzo and Antonia Tulipani, died before her.
A memorial Mass will be held at a date to be announced.
