Mr. Goodwin was a retired farmer and retired employee of American Chain & Cable Co. He was a World War I veteran and member of VFW Post 556.
Born in Conewago Township, he was a son of the late "Milton and Agnes Keener Goodwin.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. Agnes R. Cantara, Hellam RD 11, Mrs. Helen R. Emig, New Oxford RD 3, Mrs. Mildred G. Palmer, Druck Valley Road; Mrs. Evelyn F. Hughes, New Cumberland RD 1, Mrs. Mary K. Price, York RD 1; and Richard B. Goodwin, Mechanicsburg RD 5; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mamie Lentz, York.
The Rev. Mabel L. Seville of Mt. Royal Full Gospel Church will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday at the Scott B. Emig Funeral Home, N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
