Mrs. Carrier was a native of Dublin but had made her home in Sparta for many years. She was a retired employee of the Sparta Police Department and a member of the Sparta Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Carrier.
Survivors include two sons: George W. Martin and Ellis L. Martin both of Sparta, her daughter Hazel Clack of West Palm Beach, FL, one brother W.D. Warren of Bryon, her sister Christine Joiner of Macon and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
Her mother was Minnie Lee Williams. She died 30 Oct 1937 in Wheeler Co, Ga and is buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery in an unmarked grave.
