Barbara Ellen Phillips born November 22, 1931 in Elmhurst, IL, died on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She is survived by her five children, Angela, Tom Davis, LouEllen, Susan, and David, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one nephew, and one grandniece.
Barbara lived in Yuma over 30 years and retired from YRMC in April, 1995 completing 22 years of service. After retirement, she built a cabin in Chino Valley, AZ where she resided the remainder of her life.
She rocked as a mother, excelled as a grandmother and experienced much joy with her great grandchildren. Barbara was a loyal and trusted friend to many people. She was always ready for an adventure and was curious about everything on this earth and beyond. This was no ordinary life. This was a life well-lived and well-loved, a life that will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date. For those wishing to make a contribution in Barbara's memory, her most beloved organization was: Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84742
