Born in Fulton, N.Y., he was the son of the late William and Alice (Allen) DeVore.
He had been a machinist at Wrights Airplane Factory in Paterson, N.J., for 12 years and he had also worked in a silk mill in East Stroudsburg.
He had lived in Lakeland, Fla., for 18 years before moving to Pennsylvania.
He is survived by three sons, Mark DeVore in Oklahoma and Kim and Lyle DeVore, both in California; two daughters, Beverly Jeanne Augustinsky of R.D. 5 Stroudsburg and Darlene Haycock in Connecticut; three grandchildren, Robert Ace Jr. of Saylorsburg, Vicki Luksan in Florida and Kellie Seifert of Stroudsburg; four great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sons, Stacy, Craig Jesse, and Jesse William DeVore, and by a daughter, Virginia Williams.
