David Henry Ace, Sr., 37, of Franklin RD3, died at 11:40 A.M. Tuesday at North Side Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio. A son of Donald and Elizabeth Sutton Ace, he was born in Franklin June 3, 1940. He and the former Rose Stanley were married Sept. 23, 1961, and she survives. Mr. Ace was employed as a laborer at the CPT Foundry. Survivors include his wife; one son, David H. Ace, Jr., and two daughters, Joyce and Karen Ace, all at home; a half-sister, Mrs. Opel Dodge of Franklin; two half-brothers, Dale Hefferman of Franklin and Jim Hefferman, Oil City. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter in 1962 and two half-brothers, Donald Hefferman and Eugene Hefferman. Removal was made to the Burger-Gardinier Funeral Home ... Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home with the Rev. John Sass, pastor of Christ United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Franklin Cemetery.
