Just as the joyous church bell chimes began to ring announcing Christmas tide Dr. R. W. Connell, of Omaha, Neb., brother of Congressman Connell, was united in the holy bonds of wedlock to Miss Katie E. Walsh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Walsh, deceased. The marriage took place at an early hour at St. Paul's, the Rev. Father Von der Abe officiating, and after the wedding breakfast, at the residence of her sister, Mrs. J. M. Foster, Reading road, the happy couple took their departure on the limited for Columbus, Chicago and other points, and will be at home to their friends after January 1 at No. 2580 Harney avenue, Omaha, where the groom is a prominent physician. The happy couple carry with them the sincere good wishes of a large circle of friends. They received some very handsome presents. Miss Walsh is a sister of Jno. J. Walsh, the well known traveling salesman.

Mrs. R. W. Connell Dies Here at Home of Her Daughter

Mrs. Ralph W. Connell, 65, who has been ill for three years and bedfast for several months, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. Malcolm Baldrige, 124 South Thirty-ninth street, with whom she lived.

Mrs. Connell was born in Cincinnati and came here as a bride. Her husband, the late Dr. Connell was for many years health commissioner. She is survived by her daughter, two sons and four grandchildren. One son, Herbert J., of Portland, Me., will reach Omaha Saturday morning. James R. Connell of Chicago arrived today.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning from the family residence and St. Cecilia's cathedral. Burial will be at the Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
