Murray Franklin Johnson, 70, of Hamilton died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Columbus Hospice. Interment in Pine Mountain Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson was born January 12, 1941 in Ty Ty, GA the son of Murray and Lola Tanner Johnson. He retired from Georgia Power after 37 years of service and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Pine Mountain Valley Church of Christ and Chipley Masonic Lodge, Pine Mountain.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Johnson of Hamilton; two sons, Kenneth Franklin Johnson of Pine Mountain Valley, Kevin Ray Johnson and his wife, Laura of Hamilton; two grandsons, Taylor Johnson and his wife, Anna of Jacksonville, FL, Justin Johnson of Hamilton and one sister, Ann Jones of Ty Ty, GA.
