Mr. Evington A. Case died at his home at Bridgeport, Friday morning, following a stroke of paralysis. The deceased was sixty-five years of age, and was a native of New Jersey. He came to this section about four years ago, settling at Bridgeport, where he has ever since made his home. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. William Kelley, of Atlanta, and one son, Clifford Case, of Detroit.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the Davis undertaking parlors, the service being conducted by Dr. J. F. Savell, pastor of the First Baptist Church. The interment was in Oak Hill East Cemetery. (Times-Herald Obituary dtd Friday, 21 Dec 1923.)
