Anderson ---Addie Mae Anderson, daughter of John and Louisa Housh Anderson, was born near Hiawatha, Kansas, March 20, 1871, departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Ransom, in San Jose, California, May 31, 1948, at the age of 77 years, 2 months, 11 days.

She was united in marriage on May 20, 1889 to Henry Anderson at Pawnee City, Nebraska. To this union were born two daughters, two sons, Orville Anderson of Santa Monica, Califfornia, Floyd Anderson of Kansas City, Missouri, her daughters, Mrs. Edna Ransom of San Jose, California, Mrs. Ruth Weddle of Bell Gardens, California, also 19 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters, Mrs. Ada Sutherlin of Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Minnie Hoffhines of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Nettie Dodd of Esbon, Kansas, Mrs. Inez Anderson of Sidney, Nebraska, Mrs. Elsie McGinnis of Montrose, Kansas, two brothers, Fred Michler of Oxnard, California, Clyde Michler of Oxnard, California, several nieces, nephews, a host of relatives, friends who grieve with the family in the loss of a loving mother, a true friend. She was a member of the Christian church in Reserve, Kansas.
