Alta May Driver, 95, of Greenfield, died 12:25 P.M. Wednesday at her residence.
She was born February 10, 1904, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of William O. and Nellie May Keller Deafendeffin.
She was a homemaker, member of Greenfield Church of Christ, Eastern Star; past member of Mother's Club; History
Club and various church groups.
She was preceded in death on January 30, 1961, by her husband, John Z. Driver, whom she married April 21, 1921.
She is survived by one son, Albert E. Driver of Dayton; one daughter, Alberta M. (Bertie) Pollard of Greenfield; one
sister, Velma Steman of Cadillac, Michigan; six grandchildren, John Harper, Joellen Foley, Marty Pollard, Becky Pollard, Marsha Kinzer and Shelle Bergeron; 18 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia J. Counter; a great-granddaughter, Kelly Lynn Pollard; two sisters, Edith Young and Marie Randall; and two brothers, Lawrence and Oliver Deafendeffin.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield with Danny
Dodds and Terry Lee Spiess officiating.
The funeral will be 2 P.M. Saturday at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery.
Friends may call after 12 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
