Agata A. (Ferrelli) Forgione, 78, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Niagara Falls, NY. Born and educated in Prezza, Abruzzi, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Costantino and Cristina (Rosatone) Ferrelli.
Agata married Anthony Forgione on January 15, 1955 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She was a parishioner of Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, and a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Ladies Society, both in Niagara Falls, NY. Agata enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino, but most importantly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her husband of fifty-seven years, she is survived by a son, Cesare (MaryAnn) Forgione; a daughter, Sylvia (Guido) Virtuoso, both of the Town of Niagara, NY; two granddaughters, Cristina Virtuoso, and Diana Virtuoso; a sister, Antonietta (late Aldo) Pesce of Italy; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Lina (late Giovanni) Pasquale.
