MRS. ADELIA C. BANGS DIES IN SEVENTY-SEVENTH YEAR
SUCCUMBS TO ILLNESS OF YEAR AT HER HOME IN REESER PLACE
Mrs. Adelia C. Bangs, 77 years old, daughter of the late William Kendrick, died at 2:00 yesterday afternoon of a complication of diseases at her home in Reeser place. She had been ill for more than a year and the end was not unexpected.
Mrs. Bangs was the widow of John Bangs, who for many years was connected with John P. Morton & Co. She was a native of Louisville and spent her entire life here. She was a member of the Episcopalian Church and took an active interest in the Episcopal Orphanage on Morton Avenue.
Mrs. Bangs is survived by two daughters, Miss Addie Bangs and Mrs. Thomas H. Willis of Chicago; a sister, Mrs. M. K. Carter and two brothers, W.C. and G. P. Kendrick.
…Burial will be in Cave Hill cemetery.
