EDITOR H. C. BATTS, OF REAL ESTATE BULLETIN, DEAD
Resident of Louisville for Thirty-five Years and Native of Tennessee.
Henry C. Batts, editor of the Real Estate Bulletin and member of Typographical Union No. 10, died at the age of 60 at his residence, yesterday morning.
He had been suffering from heart disease for six months and had been confined to his home two weeks.
Mr. Batts was born near Cedar Hill, Robertson County, Tennessee, and was a graduate of Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tenn. At one time he was editor of the Bowling Green Democrat. He was also employed on various newspapers in this city, where he had lived for more than thirty-five years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Batts, and two children, Harry J. Batts and Mrs. Edna Federer…. Burial will be private in Cave Hill Cemetery.
