LUCAS -
David E. McMillen, 58, a machinist at the Westinghouse Electric Corp for the past 33 years and an ardent sportsman, was dead on arrival at 11:20 a. m. yesterday. He suffered a heart attack at his home on Rummel Rd. near Lucas.

Born Dec. 18, 1907 at Butler, he had resided in the Lucas area for the past 31 years. Hunting and trapping were his hobbies. His annual take of fox from the area numbered in the hundreds.

He was a member of Lucas Congregational Church, Local 711 IUE-AFL-CIO, Ohio State Trappers Assn., Spring Valley Hunting Club and Richland County Fish and Game Protective Assn., Inc.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara Baker McMillen; four sons, Gerald E. and David A., both of Lucas, RD 1; Thomas L. and Larry D., both of Mansfield; three grandchildren and two brothers, Glenn F. McMillen, of Ashland and C. LeRoy McMilen, of Mansfield.

Services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday in the Byerly Funeral Home in Lucas. The Rev. C. Arthur Riddle, pastor of Lucas Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Caesarea Cemetery in Washington Township, Richland County. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p. m. today.
