Mrs. Bertha Mary (Frederick) Adams, 84, of 25 Cumberland Rd., widow of Carton B. Adams, died Thursday at Franklin County Public Hospital.
She was born in Broad brook Ct., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Frederick. Before retirement she had been employed by Woolworth, Inc.
Survivors include two sons, Carlton B. of Storrs, Ct. and Herbert S. of Turners Falls; three daughters Mrs. Ruth Budstuber of Broad brook, Ct.; and Miss Vera Adams and Mrs. Mabel G. Babits of Greenfield, 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.Services will be at 1 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Saunders rector of Saint James Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Green River Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Stanley Wooley, Jr of St. James Episcopal Church conducting services from McCarthy Funeral Home.Burial was in Green River Cemetery.
