Peter F. Faber, 84, of Orange City, IA died unexpectedly Saturday, March 21, 1992 at the Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Services were held Tuesday, March 24, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. Rev. Ralph A. Pontier officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Faber was born June 29, 1907, in Doon, the son of France and Trijntje (Ardema) Faber. He was raised in Doon.

On February 7, 1928, he married Lydia Huizenga at Orange City. The couple farmed at Doon and Orange City, and later moved in to Orange City.

She died September 5, 1975, in Orange City.

On December 29, 1976, he married Lucy Kroeze Jeltema in Orange City.

He was employed by Utech Implement and later became partner in Tolman Welding. He was also employed at B & M Manufacturing, Pals Transfer, Silent Sioux and Russell's Ready Mix.

Mr. Faber was a member of First Christian Reformed Church.
He was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy; two daughters, Emilene "Clem" and Edwin Kleinwolterink of Sibley, IA; and Karen and Delmar Bergsma of Orange City; two sons and their wives, Freeman and Marjorie Faber of Sioux Center, IA; and Otto and Judy Faber of Orange City; a stepdaughter and her husband, Elizabeth and Harold Bruxvoort of Jenison, MI; three stepsons and their wives, Peter Dean and Gladys Jeltema, Rod and Ruth Jeltema and Gary and Anita Jeltema, all of Orange City; eleven grandchildren; eleven stepgrandchildren; twenty-seven greatgrandchildren; four stepgreatgrandchildren; and a sister, Bessie Oosterheert, of Grand Rapids, MI.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Harlan; and a grandson, Barry Kleinwolterink.
