Ralph Garland Tuttle, Sr. of Fontana, CA, passed away November 8, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 5, 1942 in Winston Salem, NC to Edgar Lee and Kathleen Winters Tuttle. He grew up in Winston-Salem and attended Mineral Springs High School. He was a retired automobile technician and owned several businesses in NC and CA. Mr. Tuttle had a passion for family genealogy and since 1981 had made many trips from CA to NC to obtain information. He had a knack for making people laugh wherever he went. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Joseph Lee Tuttle. He is survived by his loving wife Petra Aquino Tuttle, sons Ralph G. Tuttle, Jr. (Denise), and Richard Lee Tuttle (Elvira), step children Temecia Garcia Watson (Ron) and Theodore Carrier (Pamela); grandchildren Jessica, Alicia, Nicholas, Ryan, Trevor and Dylan Tuttle; step grandchildren Nikko and Destini Watson, and Maliki and Imani Carrier, sister Debbie Tuttle Barton (Fred), nieces Sabrina T. Atchley (Mike), Catrina B. Young (Craig), and a very special niece Jeannie Barton, nephews Joseph Edward Tuttle,(Eddie), Joseph George Tuttle (Joey) and Joseph Fredrick Barton, III and a special cousin and friend Jack Boles (Carolyn). In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Published in Winston-Salem Journal on November 15, 2012
