John "Jack" Berrey April 7, 1929 - September 27, 2006 John Jack Richard Berrey, 77, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died September 27, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications with brain cancer. He was born April 7, 1929, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Alfonso G. Berrey and Ruby Berrey. He attended schools in Idaho Falls and received his BA from Brigham Young University. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enlisted in the United States Navy on May 22, 1946, serving in the medical corp in Corona, California, until Mar 22, 1948. On April 17, 1955, he married Joann Toomer in Montpelier, Idaho. Survivors include his wife, Joann Berrey of Idaho Falls; two sons, David R. Berrey of Selah, Washington, and Jonathan M. Berrey of Idaho Falls; a sister Beverly Aldana of Idaho Falls; 3 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
