James Howard Walkup, Sr. was born in Idabel, OK and died in Tulsa, OK.


Walkup, James Howard 94 born in Idabel, OK died November 14.

He grew up in Tulsa with parents, two brothers and two sisters.

All predeceased him. His heritage is Creek and Cherokee tribes.

After graduating from Central High School he Joined the US Army

Air Corp during WW2. Following service he married Pauline

attended OCU. They had two children, Christine and James.

He became a land man for Phillips/Conoco until retirement.

He and Pauline loved to square dance and support their two children In

School activities. After Pauline's death he married Wahlelle.

Survived by son, Jim, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Service 10:00am Monday Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Moore's

Southlawn
