Mr. Albitz attended Burlington school and had been a self-employeed truck driver for Newell's Gas, Wabash Valley for 10 years, Newkirks and AgMax. He retired in 1982.
Mr. Albitz was born August 1, 1916, in Cutler to Frank Joseph and Ruth B. Fogsong Albitz. He married Evelyn C. Richard on January 3, 1938, and she died September 13, 1998.
A brother also preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Whiteman Cemetery.
