Age 69. Passed away April 25, 1967 at his home. Mr. Klingenmeyer was born Oct. 28, 1897 at his home. Mr. Klingenmeyer was born Oct. 28, 1897 in Peoria, Ill, but had been a resident of Racine for 61 years. In Racine on June 10, 1919, he was married to the former Pauline Matte. He had served for one year in the National Guard, and was with the infantry during World War I. Mr. Klingenmeyer had been a crane operator for J. TI. Case Co., for 39 years before his retirement on Oct. 18, 1962. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Case 20 Year Club and CIO Local No. 180. Surviving are his wife, Pauline; two sons, Jack of Racine and Harry of Milwaukee; one daughter, Mrs. Sam (Bernice) Garbo of Racine; two sisters, Mrs. Earl (Frieda) Larsen of Racine and Mrs. Ted (Maude) Petersen of Oconomowoc; one brother, Edward of Racine; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 27, at 2 p.m., in St. John's Lutheran Church, Rev. Armin C. Schaefer officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday after 4 p.m. and during the evening at the Krug Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., corner of Barker and Lincoln Sts. On Thursday Mr. Klingenmeyer will be taken to the church to lie in state until time of services.
