Mrs. Jeanette Place Brugler of Tucson, Arizona passed away unexpectedly at her home July 8, 1988. Born December 8, 1919 she was the daughter of John and Essie Gross Place. She spent her early life in Silvara and West Auburn before she and her husband moved to Arizona. She was an alumna of the Laceyville Class 1937 and later studied at Tucson University earning credits in Journalism. She was affiliated with her daughter's business Sandy Brugler and Associates as a realtor. She had been involved with volunteer work with the Tucson Hospital, part-time for the past few years. She is survived by her husband Kern; three sons, Jerome, Charles and Mark; four daughters, Sally, Sandra, Sharon and Jan; a brother John Place of Johnson City, N.Y.; five sisters, Mrs. Madge Swisher of Tampa, Florida, Mrs. Frances Conrad, Mrs. Bette Moore and Mrs. Myrle Knapp all of Elmira, N.Y. and Mrs. Thelma Scott of Binghamton, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Sammy. Funeral services and burial was in Tucson.
