OBITUARY :
HARRY C. RICKER, husband of the late Bessie May Ricker died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Glennis Harvey, 1830 Gilbert Avenue, Hagerstown, Tuesday, at 11 a.m. after a lengthy illness, aged 83 years.

He was born near Portland, Oregon, the son of the late William G. and Malinda Shorey Ricker.

He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, Hagerstown, a veteran of the Spanish American War and a member of the Bryan - Schley Spanish American War Veterans.

He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Glennis Harvey, Hagerstown; Mrs. Dorothy Yeakle, Baltimore; one son, Roland Ricker, Hagerstown; six grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

The body was removed to the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Norman Van Brunt officiating.

Burial will be made in the Boonsboro Cemetery.

Military graveside services will be conducted by Company B of the Maryland National Guard.

The family will meet friends at the funeral home Thursday evening 7-9.
