Ceberry married Charles William Bailley Nov 24, 1870, in Mercer Co., West Virginia, at the age of 16. They soon after migrated to Texas and settled in Waxahachie. There wasn't a return trip to West Virginia until the summer of 1914. Cebery and her daughter, Effie, made the trip by railway and was met at the train station by her brother, John walker, and traveled to Egeria by horse-drawn wagon. Upon arriving in Egeria, Ceberry saw her little sister, Nicti, for the first time. While they were home several parties were thrown in their honor. A cousin recalls a game called "weavely wheat" being played at one party. In the fall of 1914 it was time to return to Texas, Ceberry's cousins, Grover Walker and his brother took them to the train station by horse-drawn wagon, leaving at 4am.
Following the death of Charles, Ceberry married Albert Thomas in 1920.
