BLAKE, DAVID LAMAR age 47,went to be with his heavenly Father on November 15, 2012. David was a prominent member of Grant Street Baptist Church and brought joy and inspiration to all those around him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Blake and grandmother, Mae Britton. He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Lori Blake; son, Jonathan Blake; father, Robert Blake; sister, Cheryl (Kevin) Benton; niece, Sarah Benton; grandson, Ryan Blake and many more loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at Grant Street Baptist Church Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 am with burial in Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Lawrence officiating.
