Arthur T. Adams, 97 years of age, a native of this community, passed away Thursday, February 6,
at Seattle, Washington, where he had resided the past twenty years. He had visited relatives in Elysian about nine years ago.
Arthur Adams was born and raised west of Elysian on what is now the Curtis Taylor farm, and
for many years taught school in Minneapolis. His wife, the former Maggie Warburton of Elysian, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his one son, Harold, of Seattle, Wash.; and two granddaughters. Preceding Mr. Adams in death were his parents and two brothers, Schuyler and Elmer.
The body was cremated and the remains will be brought from Washington in the spring for burial in Cedar Hill cemetery, Elysian.
