Eula Mae Gillespie, 75 years, passed away on February 22, 2012 at Glenwood Healthcare, Seymour, MO.

Eula was born July 19, 1936 in Alton, MO to William and Stella (Sisco) Bridges.

On September 25, 1954 Eula and Lester Gillespie were united in marriage in Poplar Bluff, MO and to this union two children were born.

Eula was a retired seamstress and had worked for Hagales Co. in Ava for several years. She was a member of the Living Church of God. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers and painting ceramics. Her devotion and love was to her family.

Eula was preceded in death by her parents,two brothers, Leamon and Norman Bridges.

Eula is survived by her husband, Lester Gillespie, Ava, MO, one daughter & husband, Linda & Terry Galimore, Tuscumbia, MO and one son & wife, Dennis & Ione Gillespie, Springfield, MO, four grandchildren, Becky Miller, Dustin Scott, Daniel Gillespie and Jerry Gillespie, four great grandchildren, Kolby, Shatavia, Kole and Taylor, one brother, Ralph Bridges, three sisters, Louise Switzer, Maxine Leonard and Ester Giddens and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Eula will be Monday, February 27, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Bailey Cemetery, Alton, MO. Visitation will be Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. Officiating for Visitation is Pastor Carl Beyersdorfer. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
