Miss Florence Abshire has not regained consciousness since she sustained a fracture of the skull when an automobile in which she was a passenger struck an excursion train on the Chesapeake Beach line Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. She is at Providence Hospital.

Mrs Flora Bair Abshire of Washington, D C, formerly a resident of Beckley, was killed one day as week when an auto in which she was riding was demolished by a train at the Marlborough road crossing near Chesapeake Bay. The remains were taken to Beckley for interment. She was a niece of Mrs Martha McAlister of Hinton.
