Mrs. Mary Ellen Bunch
Combs Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary Ellen Bunch of the Dew's Pond Community, Calhoun. Mrs. Bunch passed away Monday at 10:15 a.m. She had been in declining health for several years. She was preceded in death by her husband who passed away April 8, 1958.
She is survived by the following: two sons, Grady Bunch, Chattanooga and Jim Bunch, Plainville; four daughters, Mrs. John Bowden, Calhoun, Mrs. Bill Kesley, Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Andrew Gazaway, Boaz, Ala., and Mrs. B. D. Carney, Calhoun; five brothers, Jack McCary, Charley McCary, Dock McCary, and Billie McCary, all of Oklahoma, and Ira McCary, of Ellijay; one sister, Mrs. Robert Gaydon, Austell; 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bunch were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Bethlehem Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Hollis Hammond. Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Pallbearers include B. D. Carney, Grady Bunch, Jim Bunch, Andrew Gazaway, L.V. Payne and Arthur Henson.
