Glenn D. Kalm, 73, of Marinette passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 8.
Born Oct. 8, 1939 in Marinette to Rueben and Mabel (Larson) Kalm, he was a lifelong resident of Marinette and a graduate of Marinette High School.
He attended technical school and first worked as a salesman for the Fuller Brush Co. He later worked at Marinette Fuel & Dock before operating his own fuel delivery business, Kalm Oil Co. He was also self-employed as a carpenter. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially loved spending time at camp. He was known to his many friends as a person's person, liked by all and always willing to help anyone in need.
He is survived by two sisters, June Kalm of Marinette and Gwen (Raymond) Wesoloski of Menominee; eight nieces and nephews; very special close friends, cousin, Kenneth and Audrey Richards and Gary and Toni Marineau.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard and an infant brother, Rodney.
Friends called at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette after noon on Monday, Nov. 12 until time of the funeral services at 1 p.m. Chaplain Darrel Diers officiated and burial was in Forest Home Cemetery.
