Services for Mrs. Annie Charmlin Ford Taylor, 97, were Friday at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorenson Funeral Home in Jackson, TN with Rev. Tom Lewis and Rev. William Boyer officiating. Burial followed in the Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery near Mercer, TN.
Mrs. Taylor died at the Forest Cove Nursing Center from heart failure.
She was the daughter of the late John Allen Ford, Sr. and Ora Edwards Ford and was a lifelong resident of Madison County. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Mercer Baptist Church. She was the widow of Vester Theron Taylor who died in 1988.
Survivors include three sons, John Edwards Taylor of Clarksville, TN; Bobby Allen Taylor of Mercer, TN and Billy Vester Taylor, Sr. also of Mercer, TN; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers serving were Bill Taylor, David Taylor, Billy Acred, Josh Coble, Randy Coble and Harvey Lee Curlin.
The family has requsted that any memorials be directed to the Mercer Baptist Church Building Fund.
