MY DONALD'S DAD

I really do not know much of the history about Bert, other than what his son Donald told me. He was a very good, hard working man. He worked for Utah Poultry in Salt Lake City for many years. He and his wife Eleanor adopted Don when he was 4 years old. They camped out on a piece of ground in Salt Lake County until he could build them a house. They had a cow named "June" that he loved. Before Don went in the Navy he taught his Dog "Flossy" to bring June in from the fields. It made it so much easier for Bert as he got older. Don only had wonderful things to say about his Dad. Bert died from a heart attack.

Rest in Peace Bert. You will never be forgotten.
