He was born on February 8, 1943, in Manitowoc, son of the late Raymond and Viola (Haas) Habermann. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton.
Survivors include two children/ Amy Haberman of Green Bay, and Michael Habermann of Kiel; his very special friend Teresa Keuler "the one I loved"; Teresa's daughters, Sue (Tony) Vickman of Chilton; Mary (Jim Heus) Butler of Hilbert; two special grandchildren, Dominic Heus and Abigail Vickman; and a brother, Bill Habermann of New Holstein.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday August 19, 1999, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton, with the Rev. Carey Lahrs S.D.S officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church in Chilton from 4 p.m. until the time of services. Wieting Funeral Home in Chilton is assisting the family.
