Everett was born on August 31, 1937 in Crandall to parents Loren and Pearl Lane and passed away peacefully at his residence on November 18, 2012 at the age of 75.

Everett loved to garden and build things. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Everett was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and one step-daughter.

He is survived by his three sons; Tim Lane, Keith Lane and Rod Lane all of Seagoville, one daughter Kimberly and husband Bruce Burleson of Garland, one step-daughter Pamela Whisenant and husband Jody of Dallas, nine grandchildren, one sister Sherry Sabastian, other loving family members and many friends.
