Mr. Anthony Wayne Grubb, 48, of Owens Hollow, passed away Friday morning, November 16, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was a son of the late Forester and Opal Marie Owens Grubb born on November 9, 1964 in Manchester.

Mr. Grubb was President of Realty and Leasing with the Forcht Group of Kentucky and believed in the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Corbin Kiwanis Club and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Jason McCreary.

Survivors include two children, Haleigh Miranda Grubb and Jordan Anthony Grubb both of Bull Creek; a sister, Carol McCreary and husband, Terry, of Bryants Store; three brothers, Robert Valentine and wife, Darlene, of Ohio, James William Grubb and wife, Nancy, of Clarksville, TN and Roy Grubb of Bryants Store; a very special niece, Michelle Abner and husband, Darian, of Bryants Store; his best friend, Chris Felts of Corbin; among other loved ones and dear friends.

His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Wednesday, November 21 at 2 P.M. with Rev. David Barnard, Rev. Sylvester Dunn and Rev. Marvin Cress officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Owens Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Chris Felts, Greg Lay, Dennis Cupp, Roger Alsip, Tommy Booth and David Witt. Honorary bearers will be Jordan Grubb, John McCreary, Darian Abner, Terry Forcht, Rodney Shockley and employees of the Forcht Group of Kentucky.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
