Obituary

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather Howard Louis Harman, 79, passed away unexpectedly at home on August 8, 2002.

Born April 13, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah the oldest child of Edwin and Laura Trinko Harman. Howard is a veteran of World War II having served in the Army. Returned from duty and married Dorothy Drechsel Gunther on July 27, 1946. He worked for P.I.E. as a truck driver retiring after 35 years of service

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Dad enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and spending time with family and friends. His dry wit and sense of humor will be missed by all.

Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy, daughter Diane (Leon) Nielsen, son Scott (Kim) Harman, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers Gordon and Robert. Preceded in death by parents and brother Richard.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at the Mountain View Memorial Mortuary Chapel, 3115 East 7800 South. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2002 at the Mountain View Mortuary and prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Cemetery.
